  1. Very interesting that these songs remain. I have gotten so far removed from listening to the radio for current songs, especially since WAMO no longer plays in Pittsburgh. Local radio was my source of staying on top of what is current. Hip-Hop has gotten very HARD. I find it interesting that songs with such strong lyrical content to remain at the top... Thanks for sharing this information. Looking forward to future updates.

  2. Explain why these particular songs have stood the test of time. I'm not a hip-hop fan, but I would like to read why these songs are so great compared to other ones.

  3. I like the idea of posting lists of songs, could inspire readers to download them.
    But I do agree with lauren, I'd like to know what it is that makes these songs timeless, even though I understand that might be hard to articulate. Or--how they have stood the test of time, like are they still played on the radio, tv, at clubs, etc.
    Let's see some more!
